I consider it both a gift and a lifelong challenge to have been raised by loving parents from two very different cultures. With a North German father and a Latin American mother, life was never boring. Over breakfast, I learned – by doing – how to mediate between perspectives and communicate across cultures. Bilingual conversations and spontaneous translations between Spanish and German (and occasionally Plattdeutsch) were a natural part of daily life.

Looking back, it seems almost intentional that I pursued a degree in communications after graduating from a bilingual (German/English) high school – although it certainly didn’t feel that strategic at the time.

Today, I work as an organizational development consultant, certified business coach, and trainer, supporting individuals, teams, and organizations on their development journeys – with empathy, clarity, and a systemic lens. I deeply believe that meaningful change starts within. When people show up as their true selves, they can connect with others – and help transform structures.

My work combines depth psychology, learning theory, and systemic approaches with over 20 years of leadership experience in international communications agencies. As a managing director, I’ve led diverse teams, made strategic decisions, and guided organizations through complex change processes – from implementing new systems and restructuring operations to cultural transformation and conflict resolution.

Empowering leadership, psychological safety, and a culture of trust aren’t buzzwords to me – they’re principles I live by. These values shaped my own leadership style, and they continue to shape how I show up for my clients and training participants today.

All of this flows into the training program closest to my heart: Learning with and from each other – Teambuilding with Courage and Compassion. It’s a space that strengthens connection and fosters collaboration that feels real, resilient – and good.

Whether in individual coaching, team development, or systemic consulting: I love working across all levels – with people, in teams, and with the bigger picture in mind.

Outside of work, my passion for language continues to spark joy. I’m fascinated by the origins of idioms and expressions, and I love dancing Zumba or recharging with a cafecito in the sun on my balcony.
